CONCUSSION PASSPORT

A Concussion Passport is created by an athlete initially from a computer, and medical information is input when the athlete first sees a doctor.

It can then follow the player across the years, through different sports and even countries, chronicling their sporting and injury history.

Access is granted by the athlete to their doctor or specialists, and there is a sophisticated lookup function for these doctors to see all patients under their care.

Importantly there is also a way for hospitals and emergency room doctors to gain limited and authorised access when an athlete is unable to provide their history through a secure authentication process.

Once created, a record cannot be altered, but continuation notes and test results can be added.

Apart from baseline medical history, individual injury episodes and treatment plans can be input.

The Concussion Passport provides a detailed athlete history……….for life.
